We hope you found this list of the best recycling centres near Pimpama useful. Before heading out to any of the centres be sure to sort to your load by grouping similar materials together in your trailer or ute, this will make your trip easier and more efficient. We recommend placing green waste and timber towards the front of your vehicle, and general waste at the back. If you have scrap metal this should be placed on top where it can be unloaded first.

Important Note about Load Size Limits

The City of Gold Coast restricts load sizes to ensure fair use of their centres and to reduce wait times. They accept a standard trailer or utility tray loaded with residential waste (at no charge), as long as it measures no more than:

  • mixed loads – 2.1 metres long x 1.5 metres wide x 0.6 metres high
  • green waste loads – 2.1 metres long x 1.5 metres wide x 1 metre high
