10. Have dogs? Take them to Rifle Range Fenced Agility Dog Park
Located at LOT 900 Matthews Cres, Pimpama QLD 4209, this is a great place to take your pets so they can run wild. There is an active Facebook group where you can find out more information or even liaise with locals to setup a time to meet and have your pets socialise with others.
11. Pay your respects at Pimpama & Ormeau War Memorial
Pimpama & Ormeau War Memorial is a heritage-listed memorial at Pacific Highway, Pimpama, Queensland, Australia. It was built in 1919. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.
According to Wikipedia, the Pimpama and Ormeau War Memorial was erected by local residents in the grounds of the Pimpama Uniting (previously Methodist) Church. The masons were Andrew Lang Petrie and Son of Toowong, Brisbane who were responsible for many war memorials throughout Queensland. It cost £154, which was raised by public subscription.
It can be a great place to take your children or grandchildren to educate them about the war and sacrifices made by so many soldiers.
